Great way to extend your range

Purchase Experience
Aima’s official dealer network made buying their eBike battery stress-free. Since they don’t sell online, I visited a local authorized dealer in person. The staff was incredibly helpful—they walked me through battery options, confirmed compatibility with my eBike model, and placed the order seamlessly. While I initially worried about navigating tariffs (timed my purchase just before new U.S. tariffs took effect!), the dealer assured me the price was locked in, which eased my mind.

Delivery & Pickup
Ordered on a Friday, and the battery arrived at the dealer by Tuesday—3 business days! The dealer called me as soon as it was ready for pickup. Impressive speed, especially considering it was a customized order. The battery was packaged securely, with no damage during transit.

Battery Specs & Safety (From Aima’s Website)

- Type: Lithium-ion (Li-ion)
- Capacity: 48V 20Ah (common for Aima mid/high-range models).
- Safety Certifications: UL, CE, and RoHS compliant.
- Features: Overcharge/over-discharge protection, temperature control, and waterproof casing (IP67 rating).
- Lifespan: 800+ charge cycles (≈3–5 years with regular use).
- Warranty: 2-year limited warranty (standard for Aima batteries).

The dealer highlighted these specs during the purchase, and after testing, I can confirm the battery delivers on its promises—zero safety concerns during charging or riding.

Why I’m Satisfied

- Tariff Timing: Buying just before new tariffs saved me
$.
- Dealer Expertise: No upselling—just honest advice tailored to my needs.
- Real-World Performance: Consistent power output, even on hills, and no voltage drops after weeks of use.

Future Hopes
While this Li-ion battery is excellent, I’d love to see Aima innovate with solid-state or sodium-ion batteries in the future. These could improve energy density, reduce charging time, and lower environmental impact. For now, though, Aima’s current tech is reliable and safe.
Also wishing for an official way to securely store batteries on the bike like lockable case

Final Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)
Recommend?: 100%—visit an authorized dealer for a no-pressure, personalized experience. Perfect for tariff-conscious buyers!

Hello, i have offen wondered why aima don't sell it's parts online to it's loyal customers, sometimes only getting parts from a dealer only is a let down to a customer and all dealers are not as friendly as you think and having to suck it up and deal with them is a pain..I shop i got my ebike from is barely open and the guy acts if he's too busy most times so I wish there was a way to allow online parts to be sold to your customers it would really help us out also and not just the seller because without the customers those ebikes won't sell
