This past weekend, AIMA Ebike proudly joined the community at the Santa Barbara Earth Day Celebration. It was an incredible two days dedicated to environmental awareness, sustainable living, and, of course, the joy of electric cycling. We brought our latest lineup to the beautiful coastal city, and the reception was nothing short of spectacular.
A Buzzing Booth & Enthusiastic Crowds
The energy at our booth was phenomenal. Positioned in a prime location, we quickly became one of the highest-traffic destinations at the entire festival, right alongside the popular food trucks! Over the course of the two-day event, we welcomed over 500 attendees who stopped by to check out our bikes, and we engaged in great conversations with more than 200 people. Even a sudden rain shower on the first afternoon couldn't dampen the crowd's spirits; we still facilitated over 35 test rides, with attendees eager to experience the AIMA difference firsthand.
The Community Spirit
What truly made this event special was the incredible community support. The test ride feedback was overwhelmingly positive. In fact, the enthusiasm was so contagious that some attendees who test-rode our bikes on Saturday returned on Sunday just to help us introduce the bikes to new visitors!
We also saw a fantastic turnout from our existing AIMA family. Five proud owners rode their own bikes to the festival—including two Big Sur models, one Big Sur Sport 2.0, and two Santa Monica models. These passionate riders spent time at our booth, sharing their real-world experiences and testifying to the quality of our e-bikes with potential new riders.
What Santa Barbara is Riding
During the test rides, we gained some wonderful insights into what the local community is looking for:
- Family-Friendly Fun: The festival drew a large family crowd, particularly with children in the 8 to 13 age range. Our cool, accessory-compatible models were huge hits with this demographic.
- Top Performers: The Santa Monica, Big Sur Sport 2.0, and Big Sur 2 were among the most highly requested and tested models of the weekend. One test rider, who had just been cycling in Zion National Park with AIMA 1st Gen ebike the previous week, took the new Big Sur Sport 2.0 for a spin and praised the experience.

Our success at the Earth Day celebration wouldn't have been possible without our fantastic local dealer, The E-bikery. The special event coupons and promotions were a massive hit with the crowd, successfully driving excitement and local engagement.
